I think the best answer is for us to contact the FBI to report such questions. Don't children have any values on life these days, guns and killing are not the solution.
You need help.

A .22 is actually a good place to start. It looks small, harmless, and is relatively quite, especially with .22 shorts. However, many countries use .22 as sniper rifles with great success. Make sure you get one that is drilled and taped for a scope though. You should use a mildot scope to practice ranging and hold-off points for windage. Granted, this gun will not let you make a shot over 200 yards unless you have ideal conditions, but most people don't have access to distances greater then that to begin with. This round will allow you to learn shot doping at that distance and wind reading, both of which are critical for someone in the field. It's not like in the movies. It will take a serious commitment on your part to become a good shot. When you get older and don't need to rely on mom and dad to buy you guns then you can look for something that will be supersonic at 1000+ yards. Until then shoot the .22.

One again Sniper Rifles are rifles used by snipers!
Armies have used Hunting rifles with scopes their Issue Service Rifle fitted with a scope or in the case of the most successful sniper in history an ordinary bolt action rifle with the issue iron sights. That was Simo Hahya 546 kills in 100 days.
Putting on a ninja suit and having a black rifle does not a sniper make. The only way to learn, and the only way one should, learn is in the military so you will have to wait a few years, that is if you are selected.

Good rifle and "Don't cost alot" are not compatible.
If you are saying you want a decent deer rifle, expect to pay $500-1000 for a decent bolt action.
Assuming you are buying one for hunting, caliber depends on quarry.
a good general caliber is 270 or 308.
Expect to pay $12-20 / 20 rounds of ammo.
Considering you used the word "sniper rifle" and 15 old in the same sentence and your "spelin' " "ain't that good", and you are probably illiterate buffoon or a child you maybe ought to seek counseling and turn yourself into the cops instead asking stupid questions about a gun.
The rifle is the tool, the sniper is the man. a gun can't make the man it's only as good as the person using it.

I would suggest a savage modell 110 with a target barrel. And an at least a 50mm scope. Chambered in 308 or 30-06. This is a fairly simple rifle. about $450 dollars.
But if wou want to buy a cheap sniper rifle...
Buy a mosin nagant 91/30 about $90-120 www.classicarms.us
an A.T.I. Stock for it with scope mount kit $75
www.atistocks.com or http://www.sportsmansguide.com/
10x42 scope $35 www.jgsales.com
7.62x54r 440 rounds for $65 www.cheaperthandirt.com
I can plink a traget at 400 yds and keep a 4inch circle with my 91/30 but i do have a better scope on it.

If you are meaning a long range rifle to hunt and target shoot with, a 22-250 or a 223 will do. Neither gun have any kick and they are good for coyotes and other big varmints. A sniper is a person who sits at a safe distance and shoots others, genreally in the Army or marines.
Good luck getting a gun at 15 w/o parents agreeing.

I would suggest a .308 or .270. These are both adequate calibers for deer moose or elk and more than enough for coyote. Ammunition can be bought almost anywhere and recoil is not all that bad. I would suggest a lower end Savage or Remington such as a 700 sps. The package deals that come with a scope are not the way to go however as the scopes are usually poor quality. I would suggest to buy the rifle and then to pick out a quality scope to be mounted.

After some thought & reading the prior posts, I'll give you a serious answer. Sniper rifles tend to be pricey. A Modifed Winchester 70 or Remington 700 would be a budget starting point. Synthetic stock over wood and a quality optic preferably with a mil dot reticle. A used military bolt gun a springfield or mauser is also a source. Ammo should be match grade for best perfomance. Additonal accessories like range finders, spoting scopes, etc will be needed as well.

I hope that answered your question minus the BS....

a sniper rifle is a firearm that is used by an individual trained as a marksman for the sole purpose of neutralizing high value human and material targets with small arms. unless in your short life you have been trained as a sniper, no weapon you hold is a sniper rifle, regardless of accuracy or the addition of a scope.

Now I have to ask a question of a question. What in the hell does a 15 year old need with a sniper rifle???? If you meen just for competitive shooting legally I could answer your question. But, if you plan on being the next freeway shooter or VA Tech shooter I will not answer you.

ryan, there is a lot of media hype and movies about sniper rifles and such, but listen to me, GO take a hunter safety course, then buy a .22 caliber, semi-auto rifle. these are loads of fun, don't kick, the ammo is cheap so you can shoot more and it is best to learn basics and marksmanship using a small caliber, non-kicking gun that is cheap to shoot. NOW go take that hunter safety class!!! be safe and have fun!!
