My girlfriend has been smoking for almost 6 months. Her parents don't know, but when they smell the smoke on her, she tells them that I was the one smoking. My girlfriend has her parents convinced that I am damaging her health, and her parents don't like me at all. What should I do?

well it seems like she's too scared and afraid to tell them that she's smoking because of the consequences, but it isn't fair to blaim you. tell her that you aren't comfortable with taking the blame because you don't like the fact that her parents hate you. and how long does she think she can keep this up ? her parents will eventually find out, i mean come on, they find out everything ! lol

I think you never should have started with the lie about you smoking. But now, I think you've got to make her quit. It's a disgusting, filthy, dangerous habit. If she says she can't quit, that's bull. She couldn't get addicted in 6 months. If she won't quit, tell her that in good conscience, you can't lie for her anymore. Then help her quit. It's really easy. No one thinks smoking looks cool anymore. She should be able to quit cold turkey. If she gets mad at you, she should realize in a couple days that your friendship is more important to her than smoking. I wish you the best of luck.

omg this is really bad. if she does this, you r worth a much better girl. tell her if she continues blaming you for things she does and getting away with it then you think u should see other poeple,. but, if u like her a lot maybe u can have a talk with her about trying to stop smoking, or telling her parents the truth

Go to some novelty joke store and buy a box of little ciggarette poping rocks.
Stick one in the end, and BAM! They explode when lit!
OR
Buy a pack of Nicorette. Give her gum without her knowing what it really is.

thats a tough one....you can either tell her parents the truth (which she'll hate you for), get her to stop smoking, leave the relationship, or wait for her parents to find out.

Well, if she really cared about you then she wouldn't want her parents to think bad of you. Talk to her and let her know how you feel. If she acts like she don't care, then you need to let her go, because she is all about herself and no one else. No relationship ever works out like that.

I would break up with her and tell her parents the truth. I cant stand girls that use their b/f's to get away with stuff.

talk to her parents. Tell them you can't take the shame of being disrespected by them
Tell the truth. They will respect you for it.
But she is going to see it as betrayal, Be ready for that.

if she is pointing fingers to get her self out of trouble.... think about how that will relate to your relationship down the road...
she will do something and when you ask her about it, she'll lie
dont sweat it though, sounds like your still young, there will be more girls for you....get rid of the liar....she isnt even good at it

if she actually liked you she wouldnt lie and make her parents not like you. also get her help.
