File them the same as you would have two+ weeks ago, within the deadline. If you owe anything, you'll pay penalties for being late - if you have a refund coming, you'll get it with no penalties.

The April 17, 07 deadline was more for those who owe taxes but if you are getting a refund than you can still do your taxes. If your taxes are more than 3 years old than you just missed the deadline. if you owe than you should file them asap, you will be responsible for any penalties acquired, You can always contact the IRS for a payment plan. You can also still efile your taxes if you made less than $52,000 visit the IRS.gov website for more information on where you can efile your taxes for FREE!

One important thing.. If you are getting money back, there is no real filing date.. Meaning you can file whenever you want.. Just remember, the later that you file, the longer that the government has your money with free interest :)
If you owe money.. Then you had better file quickly, as they will start adding late fee's and interest to what is owed.
As for how you can actually file the taxes.. the automated systems are still up and working online.. Turbo Tax, etc.. Also you can certainly send in the standard paper copy.. Just follow the mailing instructions that are included with your forms.
Good Luck..

Same as if you hadn't missed the deadline. The only difference will be if you owe any tax with your return, you'll be assessed penalties for late filing and interest and penalties for late payment.

I read the answers posted up to now, they are all correct. File the return in the same manner you would have by the due date, pay any balance due with the return and wait for the interest and penalty bill. If you have any kind of reason at all for being late attach that explanation on top of the return to request relief from the penalty - the interest will be charged however. It is too late to ask for an extension - that must be done by the due date with payment of enough to cover the balance due.

You can still file your taxes now, but if you owe any money, you may be charged penalty & interest.
Try the IRS website: IRS.gov. Go into "Individuals" & look for a link to file or "help".

Even if you missed the deadline you still have to file. SO you might want to call the IRS and get and extension and still file before you incur penalties.

Just go to IRS.GOV and order the forms to file; or use the free file section and file the return. Your refund awaits you.

It's good to file as soon as you can as the IRS charges interest on the money you owe them.
