Christianity is unique in that it has no provision for its adherents to engage in warfare. Those ostensible "Christians" who do so ignore the Scriptures and the teachings and example of Jesus Christ himself.

(Matthew 26:52) Jesus said to him: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword

(Isaiah 2:4) They will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

(2 Corinthians 10:3-4) We do not wage warfare according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly

(Luke 6:27-29) I [Jesus] say to you who are listening, Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you. To him that strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also

Don't know the other questions but I do know that we believe that one day soon this wicked old world and all the kingdoms of this world will be destroyed by God. Revelation 16:14
Gathering all the kingdoms to stage a war with God.
Daniel 2:44 states that in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin and the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put and end to all these kingdoms.
So knowing that God's kingdom will destroy all the governments of this world why would we fight for them?
We are determined to wait on Jesus Christ to set up his kingdom on the earth and only his kingdom will solve mankinds problems.
No matter how hard men try to govern they cannot do it perfectly.

The JW "understanding" of the flesh and spirit is a rehashing of the gnostic heresies. They are guilty of the same wrong ideas about the spirit and the flesh as were the Corinthians. Read the letters Paul wrote to them and see how far off they were. Remember also that the Corinthian church went the way of the Dodo.

They (JW's aka Russelites) also misunderstand the teachings of Christ and of the Law in regard to killing, and the difference between murder and killing in war. They also don't understand that one can be loyal to Christ and his church, all the while rendering unto Caesar that which belongs to Ceasar. There's no problem unless and until Caesar calls God's people to do that which God has forbidden in his Word. Therefore there is nothing wrong in going to war, nothing wrong with saluting a flag and promising fidelity to one's country, and nothing wrong with voting for and/or participating in governmental office.

JW's are not Chrsitians. The Watchtower is an heretical cult, using the language of Chritianity, all the while denying every single necessary doctrine of the one, true religion.

God, through Paul, said that if anyone (including even an angel) preaches a gospel different than that which was preached by Paul (and JW's will usually admit that they do preach a different "gospel") then they are eternally condemned. So, besides the fact of the Watchtower being a false prophet, and this glaring problem of a different gospel, you should have no problem is refusing to listen to anything taught by the Watchtower.

shalei: if you support war then you are the hater of Yhshua/Jesus
he prophesied these things but told us not to be a part of them!
and perhaps you need to read Matthew 10:34-37 and see how those who accept Christ's Way would have members of their own household hate them for it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
do JWs follow the teachings and example of Jesus? Cause Jesus taught all of the following things:
Matthew 5:44-48
Matthew 26:52
Luke 6:27
Luke 10:27
John 13:34, 35
John 15:17
1 Peter 2:23
1 Peter 3:9
Romans 12:17
Romans 13:10
2 Timothy 2:24
1 Corinthians 16:14
1 John 3:9-15
1 John 4:20
all that talk of loving your enemy and not returning evil for evil
what a bunch of JUNK!!!
Love isn't the answer
BOMBS are the answer!!!
they kill us, we kill them
KILL THEM ALL ! ! !
hooray for the politicins who send people to murder the bad guys in wars
if someone strikes you on the cheek
KILL THEM!!!
the USA needs to declare war on everyone that doesnt believe like we do!!!
War and killing will solve all mankinds problems
Yeah, I'm a pacifist, I get it.
I mean, I don't get the religious part of it because I'm an atheist and theism is illogical, but I understand the conscientous objector/pacifist part.
I have no idea how the Jehovah's Witnesses feel about the flesh and spirit. But I know they don't believe as I do. And I don't want them coming to my home trying to convert me to their religion.
