Hello, my boyfriend and I are seniors in high school, and we do not have much money but our prom is about $75.00 per couple. To save money, we were going to wear something creative as he cannot afford a tux. Other than wearing a nice suit, what is something creative he could wear, or we could wear as a couple? please help!!

i really dont reccomend wearing something informal because a lot of times you will not be allowed to enter. i kno a lot of people who just wear like a shirt and tie with a nice pair of pants. but if your theme is something fun like beach or something than thats different but if its something nice, like ours was "a hot night in the city" lol. but remmeber its ur senior prom so be sure to wear something that you can look back on and remember how beautfiul you looked! byebye girlie!

If you want to "make a statement" try out a thrift store and buy an old school corduroy suit. If not, a button down and khakis looks nice.

Ask your date on what she would prefer, but I would want my date to weat a suit something different instead of the same old same thing.

Go as Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala. Make sure he brings a lightsaber.

Do the leisure suit thing from the 70's. Any thrift store would have them.

Please have him wear a nice suit if he can't afford the tux. Don't embarrass yourselves.

And have a good time!
