I have discovered zinc tablets for colds, they really do work. For all the rest, Nyquil is great, especially the blue stuff that helps you sleep. Rest is the best thing for a cold like yours. The cheap store substitutes work well too. If you can't sleep, then try DayQuil, the yellow colored liquid. if you don't have those, the active ingredient in Dristan was caffeine, so any strong tea can help you feel better.

you needs some R and R. Take some vitamin C if you have Ester C it is better. Stay away from orange juice becuse of hte high sugar content. Viruses and bacteria love sugar and it will make it worse. Eat some chicken soups it has natural asprin and intestine repairer and eat some raw garlic. Garlic has anti bacterial and anti viral.

Just take tylenol and "tough it out". My husband and I were both sick with upper respiratory infections. He went to the doctor, got 3 prescriptions, I didn't. He is still sick, I'm over mine. Now he is having side effects from all the medication. Just "tough it out", I'm telling you!
