Often, I’ve seen the question asked “What are some contradictions in the Bible?”
Couldn’t think of any, until now.

Scenario here is this:
1. You accept Jesus into your life as your personal savior.
2. Later, you reject Jesus and begin glorifying Satan.
3. Turn back to Jesus and ask for forgiveness.

Now blasphemy as I know it, is an unforgivable sin.
Would God forgive them and accept them back.

Am I missing something?

Details please!

Jesus said that blasphemy against Him, in fact all kinds of blasphemy, would be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would not. I think that means speaking out against what the Holy Spirit has convinced you is true.
The case you are describing simply involves unfaithfulness, and not necessarily blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. I think only an unregenerate person can commit that. Someone who, although convinced of the truth, chooses to go on rejecting it until the end.

An unforgivable sin is the blasphemy toward the Holy Spirit (or rejecting the Holy Spirit), not concerning Jesus-the-son-of-men [Matt.12:32].
The scenario you showed is not a blasphemy, because that scenario could only be experienced by a person not familiar with the Holy Spirit, even he once had accepted Jesus by spoken word (not by action yet). No one with personal experience with the Holy Spirit will act according to the scenario you pictured.
That man in your scenario will always be welcome by Jesus.

It is not blasphemy against Jesus, it is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit that is the unforgivable sin. People all the time turn from Jesus and start sinning again and Jesus said that He goes after the sheep that have gone astray. Now if you accept the Mark of Beast then yeah you are kinda screwed.

Yes, you're missing something. Once you receive Christ as Savior, the Holy Spirit dwells inside you. He can't be kicked out. He is the seal God places on you forever. God says no one can pluck you out of His hand. It's permanent. In the first place, once you find Jesus for real (there are some who say they are Christians, but aren't), the relationship you have is something you never want to turn from. In the 2nd place, just assuming you did want to turn from Christ (which you won't), it is impossible to do.
As for the unforgivable sin, It's gone once you receive Christ isn't it? You accept the Holy Spirit....thus you don't commit the unforgivable sin. Accepting the gospel message, you receive the Holy Spirit as a seal. Once accepted, you are sealed forever. Sealed forever you can't get rid of Holy Spirit. Can't get rid of Holy Spirit, saved forever. .
Now all this doesn't mean you won't sin in other ways. And in that case the Holy Spirit inside you will let you know in an uncomfortable way and keep bugging you until you confess and repent of that sin.

The unforgivable sin spoken of in Matthew's Gospel is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. You have to read this in context to understand it. The Pharisees have just witnessed Jesus casting out demons by the power of God. The scene is so compelling that even casual unbelievers are moved to accept Christ. The Pharisees, however, have so blinded themselves by their pride that they look on the same scene and accuse Christ of casting out demons in the name of Beelzebub - another demon.
They have so closed their hearts to the grace of God that they will not accept anything from Him. Instead, they attempt to drive potential followers away. That is why Christ says, "He who does not gather with Me, scatters."
There is no contradiction here. There are NO contradictions in the Bible. A person who has truly committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will never seek forgiveness because his heart is completely closed.
The sin is unforgivable, NOT because of any limitation on God, but because of the own individual's stubbornness.

Peace to you!

for one, there is no unforgiveable sin. there is nothing God will not forgive. but here i'm going to address your statement that a true Christian "rejects" Christ and turns to satan. i do not believe this is possible.

A Christian is a new creation. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” -2 Corinthians 5:17. This verse speaks of a person becoming an entirely new creature as a result of being “in Christ.” For a Christian to lose salvation, the new creation would have to be canceled and reversed. God Himself would have to revoke His purchase that He paid for with the precious blood of Christ.

nothing can separate a christian from God’s love .. nothing can remove a christian from God’s hand. God is both willing and able to guarantee and maintain the salvation he has given us.

The Bible declares that anyone who departs the faith is demonstrating that he/she never truly was a Christian (1 John 2:19).

Over the years various groups of Christians have had certain sins have been listed as sins God would not forgive. The truth is, there is only one sin that can not be forgiven. It is the sin of rejecting Christ and His forgiveness, if one dies in that rejection. I know there are those who want to say they have found something so terrible that God does not include it in His son's payment. We are free to read the Word and decide what is right.

Actually the quote is blaspheming the Holy Spirit, which is a term of art of the time. To blaspheme the Holy Spirit is to block the Spirit of God, to turn back is to be open to the Spirit of God so you never really blasphemed. To use the Greek of the time instead of the English, you need to get rid of our idea of blasphemy, just as our word blessed is their word for happy.

First, what you propose would not happen... when one Truly comes to know The Truth of God there is no turning back... there is no such thing as an ex-Christian... it is generally considered in The True Christian Faith the in this age there is no unforgivable sin. As far and mankind's actions...only Satan and the fallen angels are condemned with no hope

Blasphemy IS an unforgivable sin. The problem is your definition of blasphemy. I think it's wrong. Never accepting Jesus' atoning sacrifice is blasphemy as I understand it, so even your satan worshipper would be forgiven according to my definition.
