Sepsis/ septic shock (depending how low is the blood pressure). Any infection. Usually meningitis wouldn't give you confusion per se, but the confusion is part of the sepsis picture, regardless of source of infection. elderly patients present with confusion as the number one symptom of infection, most commonly UTI. Gram negative bacteria he type that usually are in the bowels) typically produce this signs and symptoms but the rest can't really be ruled out.

First of all, age of the patient? Second, how high is the fever? Third. How low is the blood pressure? In adults, a pressure <90 systolic can be a problem. Fourth, how fast is the heart rate? a normal heart rate for an adult is 70-100/minute. and fifth, how confused? Do they know day, date, time and where they are? A young child will react different than an adult with the same symptoms. A child will compensate for the low vital signs, then crash. Fever can cause an increase in the heart rate. Are we talking a fever >102? 103? 104? Has the person had any recent infections, and how long if they have? A person in septic shock(severe infection) can be very critical and require drastic measures to help them. Does the person have a stiff neck(meningitis) Difficulty breathing(pneumonia) coughing up green-yellow material? Any recent tick bites? Do they have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea? Any blood in the stool or vomit? Is anyone else sick? If you have any of the above that really concerns you, get to a doctor. If they can't help you get them to a car, call 911 and get help.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

A doctor can take a blood test to see if you are anemic or not. If you are anemic, he will prescribe iron pills to get your blood level back up. You need to go to the doctor and have your blood tested as well as your blood pressure to find out what is wrong. I was anemic at 17 as well. I couldn't remember anything I studied and was failing my classes, no matter how much I studied. After I was treated, I felt like an entirely different person and my grades shot back up.
