What if there was another prophet that came after Mohammed, who said that Allah required something new of mankind? Would you listen to him?

For some religions Mohammed was not the last prophet. I have a guy at work who is Baha'i and they believe that prophets come in cycles, the most recent one being Bahá’u’lláh. As I understand it, they recognise Jesus and Mohammed as prophets, but perhaps unsurprisingly Christians and Muslims do not recognise Bahá’u’lláh.

Allah (God), who happens to also be the God of the Jews and the Christians, tells ALL humankind in the Qur'an, that his Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the "Seal of the Prophets" (Khatam El Nabiyeen).

No one made this up, it's the divine word of God.

With all due respect to the Mormons, their prophets and apostles are all false unfortunately, but the movement is a good one; Good people, helped in the Katrina disaster, 10% of everyone's earnings goes to the multi-billion dollar Mormon Church and they have missionaries, churches and hospitals all over the world. Good human causes and relief efforts, but nothing to do with God though, their prophets are self-proclaimed...

Contradictory to other muslims belief, it is no where mentioned that Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) is the last prophet in time. He himself said upon the death of his beloved son Ibraheem, "had he lived, he would be a prophet". Which of course means that there would be prophets after him, otherwise he would have said, "had he lived, he wouldn't be a prophet".
in Quran 40:35, 33:4, 72:8 clearly suggest that if he is not the last one in time, however he is the one to attain the hightest level of prophethood.
having said that, yes there was a true prophet, not out of bound of islam, but very much came to revive it. and there could be other prophets, but under the same yolk.

Mohammad wasn't the last Prophet. There are many false Prophets not just Mohammad. Mohammad joined a long line of false Prophets, before an after him. Islam is a false religion and there are many more false religions as while. Just like there are false Christians. The Anti-Christ has a great number of false religions for people to follow. Outside the blood thirsty religion of Islam the next most powerful false religion would have be, the Government approved religion of Nature worship, known as Global Warming .

Mohammed wasn't the last false prophet. There have been and will be more - and some people will listen to them.

No because God clearly states Muhammad is the last messenger and prophet and if there was another to come God would have already have informed us. Simple as that.

The God said that Muhammad (pbuh) would be the final prophet. period. End of story. There are no more prophets because God has allowed us to keep the Qu'ran pure.

Jesus Christ saves. Many thousands and thousands have been saved by his dying and resurection 600 years in the previous his existence. Islam has an incomplete account of Jesus Christ. those in mohammed perish in there sins because of the fact they are with out Christ as Lord. "there is one mediator between God and guy, Jesus Christ the Lord" you detect faith, the a number of righteosuness of God yet lack sufficient and eternal existence because of the fact Jesus Christ has been ommitted. basically as moslems would be ommitted from those lives.
