I am an gates recipient and thus have a full ride to UW, I also won other scholarships. What happens to the extra scholarship money, can I keep it? To be exatt I have an extra of $70000 over 4 years. How do I get the extra money?

It really is determined by the conditions you accepted when you won the scholarship. The best thing to do is ask both organizations those conditions. If you can't get the extra money, consider a masters degree if they let it be continued onto graduate degree level

My first reaction to your question was that you should find out directly from the organizations that offered you the other scholarships and see if there's some way that their grants will still be available.

My second reaction is that you shouldn't just think of yourself as you are obviously smart enough to have gotten all of these scholarships and only need one of them for a full 4 years of college.

Better that the others be given to someone else, the world will be a better place if others succeed because they too got a shot.
