Forgetting to brush my teeth for me is like forgetting to take a shower and stay clean. If you are not brushing your teeth everyday than your breath prob. smells very badly. Somebody must have said something to you by now, at least I hope that they have. Not brushing your teeth is bad for them, you accumulate plaque, which in turn if left on the teeth for too long turns into an acid that causes tooth decay and gum disease. Not only is it bad for your teeth but it is bad for your over-all health. Brushing should be part of your everyday routine period. Forgetting should not be an excuse. Do you forget to shower, shave, eat....Think of it this way, if you don't care about having your natural teeth until old age, then don't worry about brushing and flossing them. You can always get dentures later on and soak them overnight in a glass. Sounds appetizing doesn't it? Not in my opinion, Yuk. As someone else suggested find the nastiest looking picture of rotten teeth you can find, tape this picture to your bathroom mirror as a reminder everyday of how you don't want your teeth to look. If you have the time to be on yahoo asking the question of how to remember to brush your teeth, than I am sure you are smart enough to really remember to do it.

It should really just be part of your routine. Like washing your face and putting on deodarant. If you aren't doing these things as a matter of course twice a day then you really should be. To help you brush for two minute get yourself a little timer. Like a kitchen egg timer or something similar. Set it for 2 minutes when you start and don't stop until it pings.

Do you forget in the morning? Either way, this should work.
Stick a sign on your bedroom door (outside) that says 'BRUSH MY TEETH!' and it'll remind you to do that walk, turn around, and hit the bathroom. Same way if you wake up, you just put the sign on the inside. You can move the sign at night, or you can create 2 signs/paper.

Just don't forget to change the sweater on your teeth each morning, and if people start moving away from you so that they can escape your breath that would be a good tip for rememvering to brush. Or just wait until your teeth start falling out and I bet you remember then! Oh wait I know sleep with your tooth brush in your mouth!

Write a message on your forehead that says "brush your teeth" in permanent marker.
Or you could go to your dentist, and tell him or her that you often forget to brush your teeth. The lecture or abuse from your dentist that will inevitably follow guarantees that you will never forget again.

Do you remember to shower everyday? Then brush your teeth in the shower. I used to as well, but now with the toothbrush/paste in the shower I remember.

Ahhhh If the nasty *** taste in your mouth is not a good enough reminder I do not know what to tell you! I guess you could set a daily reminder alarm on a cell phone. Put a post-it on the bathroom mirror unless you also forget to shower or go to the restroom...

it takes 3 weeks to either form or break a habit, so you might want to try (for brekafast and dinner at least) setting your cell phone's alarm(alarm clock or whichever you have) to the usual time you have your meals. After 3 weeks you will not have a hard time remembering it.
When you get used to that schedule it's going to be easier remembering to brush after every meal, not just breakfast and dinner.
