Thanks for the question. It is fascinating to read the contrasting answers between christians and atheists.
I too would give credit to my parents.
I'd also add Richard Bach ("Jonathon Livingstone Seagull"), Kahlil Gibran ("The Prophet"), Robert Heinlein ("Stranger in a Strange Land", "I Will Fear No Evil", "Time Enough for Love"), Frank Herbert (the "Dune" series), Jesus (the man, not the son of god), Buddha, Gandhi, Socrates, Tolkien ("Lord of the Rings", "Silmarillion").
Those are the ones most readily remembered.

My grandfather. He was the epitome of a decent human being. An excellent, intelligent man, soft-spoken, calm, kind, honest, served his country with gratitude. He thought perhaps there might be a "higher power" of some sort but was not a Christian, nor did he follow any religion. He did not claim to be perfect, nor to have all the answers. Nor did he hold what he did know above others. He was quite simply the most amazing person I have ever and will ever meet.
Incidentally I was once told by a "friend" that my grandfather was in hell for not accepting Jesus, and that my grandmother would be sure to join him.

If there's an implicit "... to replace Jesus" at the end of that question, be advised that humans don't need a role model to define morality for us. We get it free, as an instinct.
But role models who personify some aspects of moral behaviour that you find laudable are OK - provided you don't work too hard to make yourself into a clone of them.

Mom and Dad - they were the best examples anyone could have asked for (at least mine are...I can't always speak for anyone else.)
Others would include Ghandi, Malcolm X, Mother Teresa, Princess Diana, The Dali Lama...

Gandhi, Cesar Chavez, Martin Luther King Jr., etc...
All fought for equality, social improvement and non-violent resistance.

Why must everyone have a role model. Why can't they decide for themselves what is right or wrong, and not base their actions on the What Would So&SO DO.
