I like this question because it's something that I've been trying to decide myself. The place I live now is ok, but I love Germany, New York, California. I actually thought about moving to New York for a long time. But now that it's getting closer to the time when I'm going to graduate from college and I have to make that decision on where I'm going to live and where I'm going to work, that decision to move away is more difficult. I have many close friends here and my family is really close. Could I really move away from all that just because I like the atmosphere of New York better than plain old Missouri?
I've come to the conclusion that I could move further away, but not as far as New York, I would rather be within driving distance of my family and friends.

Yes I could. I am thinking very seriously about moving to SC to be with the man I will marry. As long as I can have contact with my family, I don't need to be in the same general area as them. I can visit them, and they can visit me.

not really...i love them too much and they have become too much of my life. but i wouldn't live TOO close either...they can become annoying!
