i have whippoorwhil bird that lands outside my bedroom window every night at 10:30 and starts singing. we scare him away and he just comes back 30 minutes later and starts singing again. what can i do to get id of him?

I don't know if this will work, but what about getting one of those plastic owls they sell at garden stores? If you can somehow put it out your window or nearby, maybe it will scare the whipporwill away.
