I found another one for cats.
http://www.petdiabetes.org/hypoglycemia.htm
Not much different than people, but sounds like it would be hard to determine in the babies.
I e-mailed you another site. It actually suggests Karo syrup to treat. I wonder if that has anything to do with what we call kitten disease and treat with albon and Karo.

actually turnip is primarily correct. In dogs, cats and humans. Another common physical sign is seizures. Kayro syrup is common household remedy as it is high in sugar and absorbs into the blood stream in seconds once introduced to the mouth. But in the case of an 11 week old kitten, vet appt instead of guessing is prudent at this time.

He/She is very young however one common form of hypoglycemia is called juvenile hypoglycemia because it occurs in kittens less than 3 months of age. It is common in kittens because they have not fully developed the ability to regulate their blood glucose concentration and have a high requirement for glucose. Stress, cold, malnutrition, and intestinal parasites are problems that may precipitate.
What to Watch For:
Loss of appetite, Incoordination, Trembling and muscular twitching, Weakness, Seizures, Unusual behavior.
Ultimately, treatment for the underlying cause of hypoglycemia is necessary, but initially, your vet may administer glucose orally or by intravenous injection to increase blood glucose concentration.
Some preventative measures can help. Provide a warm environment, frequent feedings, routine vaccinations and de-worming procedures for kittens .
Good Luck!

11 days is very young. i'm guessing his mother isn't around and that's why you're bottle feeding? are you using cat milk? he's going to sleep a lot at that age. could he still be sucking even though he appears to be asleep? check with the vet to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with him. the only way to really tell is he's hypoglycemic is to do blood work.
