Does he have a job? If not he needs to get one. Is he living beyond his means? If so, he needs to take a look at that.

Well! Theres nothing to cheer him up, he is old enough to take his responsibility and if the car got repossessed, then obviously he is in fault and did not make the payments, therefore he has to pay the price, so leave him alone and let him learn his lesson, why are you feeling bad and guilty about it????

There is one reason cars get reposessed and that's for non-payment. this occurs when you get three months behind. Do you understand why he didn't make his payments? Has he been out of work, is he on drugs, has his wike left him, is he lazy does he drink or does he gamble. If he'e depressed that's a good sign, now perhaps he'll come to terms with his problem.

Tell him to get a job or find a car he can afford to pay for.

Take him to a money management class so this doesn't happen again. Or buy him an ice cream, whatever you think will work.
