One time I was baby sitting a 4yr old and he went into his moms room and started jumping on the bed and when I told him to stop he said "But I'm allowed to mommy and daddy jump on the bed every night, I can hear them!"

And another time I was babysitting a 2 1/2yr old boy and he wanted to watch the Canucks game, so we did and the Canucks were playing the Ducks and when the Canucks scored he yelled "Take that you stupid f*cks"... I mentioned it to his parents when they got home and it turned out he just couldnt say ducks properly...

Last week my 3 year old son came to me and said he wanted to make a poster for time-out (which is a plain white wall). I said okay and he went to work. After he was done with his lines and squiggles he asked for some tape and hung it up. About an hour later he got in trouble and I told him to go to time-out. As he got there he said, "Uh Mom, the sign says its closed."

It was so clever and funny that I didn't want to follow through on the time-out, but I did and laughed to myself the whole time.

No matter how you try to control your laughter, they will see right thru you, but you're obligated to try.
When I was working in a daycare center, a three-yr-old cussed. Before a teacher could reprimand him, another 3-yr-old told him seriously that those words were for daddys to say, but kids couldn't. All the teacher could do was agree with him, and everyone else had to maintain a straight face.

My daughter, 3 years old, of a security guard at KMart...

"WOW MOMMY! HE HAS A REALLY REALLY BIG TUMMY!!!"

ACK! I about died! Mind you, I am about 7 months pregnant with my son at the time, and I was almost 300lbs when I got pregnant(269lbs. I am considerably smaller now.)...but homeboy was HUGE...I would say 450lbs easily....BUT DANG! He knew he was big when he woke up that morning. He didn't need a loud mouth 3 year old reminding him!!!
I did scold her, and she felt bad, but my bf and I were soooo embarassed!!!

we were out camping, eating fish (attracted wasps). we told my son (3 1/2) that if the wasps keep bugging him, that he would have to go eat in the trailer. he wanted to stay at his "special" table outside. needless to say, the wasps kept landing on his plate, so he stood up, grabbed his plate and said "aw sh*t!!", then went into the trailer!! i laughed so hard that i had to wait a good 20 minutes before i could reprimand him!!!

My 2 1/2 year old son wanted to watch Sponge Bob - I looked, but it wasn't on.

"Sponge Bob isn't on now, honey." I told him.

"Awwww, sh*t". Was his nonchalant response.
