May 1 was a day marked by protest around the country by ILLEGAL Aliens. So my question is why May 1? Was it a way to celebrate the Communist holiday "May Day"(Showing their true agenda)? Or was it to thumb their nose at the American "Legal day" Made a holiday in the 50's to celebrate us as a law abiding country?(Also show their true agenda). Or will they say neither(Just plain stupid)?

The communist party and socialist party are 2 of the supporters of the march. I don't think it's by accident that May 1 was picked. I don't know if the average immigrant knows that but follow the money and you see who's behind things.
For those who say it's Mexico's labor day....why not pick a day that was more neutral for the "other" illegals you are also supposed to be concerned about?

Communist Appreciation Day can be the only reason for a May day celebration. Law biding Americans celebrate the hard working people of this country on the first Monday in September. It is called Labor Day.

It's no wonder that you have no idea why May 1st was illegal protest day since you don't even know the origins of May Day. It's not a communist celebration, it's a celebration that dates back so much further then communism was even thought of.

May 1st also happens to be Mexico's Labor Day.
Regardless, they just proved, for a second year in a row that they aren't needed. This year was probably just a way for them to take an extra day off work since it was shown last year that the US could survive just fine without them.

May 1st is "Labor Day" in most countries, I think they had been planning the march for a while, and it just happened that they did it on May 1st. I honestly don't think they knew any of the other reasons.

i have herd the illegals laugh and say they picked this day because it will pizz the Americans off. they want to screw up our American holidays. so i guess it's to thumb their nose at our holidays. I'm waiting for them to start with the 4th of July, that's when i will start opposing the cico de mayo day in America. i will make up petitions for this my self.
