Four Oaks in Independence Iowa is reponsible for numerous infractions of childrens rights and safety and as a former employee and mandatory reporter I notified the Deparment of Human Services but nothing substantial came of it except a mock investigation, entirely because Four Oaks is the lowest bidder and money comes before child safety for the government sometimes. Four Oaks is informed before there are so called random inspections, I known because they would have us clean up a day in advance. I've done all I can, people need to repond, and not just to this question.

I would like to thank you for the truthfulness. I was a child at the Independence program and it was definitly not a safe place. The place was a mess and very dirty. I am now in the nursing field and i am a manditory reporter. I wish that Dhs would have listened to me about what was going on but they do not care. I was also in a foster home that beat me and i told Dhs and they told me i was a lier. Even with a black eye i did not convince them.

I gave you what I considered to be reasonable suggestions the last time you posted this question. In fact, if my memory serves, you have posted this question at least twice before.
I do not think that continuously posting the question on Y!A is going to effect any changes in the situation that you are concerned with. If it's action that's needed, it must be local action (and by "local" I mean your community and your state). It must come from those who have witnessed and experienced the conditions that you describe and remedies must be sought from those who make the decisions about that care facility.

Make your report to the child abuse registry in your state. They have a toll free number.
