Ignore him if he's trying to get you back he isn't trying very hard he is also thoughtless, try to remember the reasons why he is your ex.

As a first response, just like you, I had my fair share of text messages from friends who seem to require a swift response. However after the sun has set and the day long gone, I had yet to get their reply.

I think what irritates both you and I is the fact that we tend to wait for our mobile phones to beep for that answer, which never comes. And we will be thinking, does this person take me for a fool who will answer his message without getting back to me?

I came up with a few conclusions :-
1. the person is not bothered to reply once he receives your crucial response;

2. He ran out of credit - Murphy Law strikes at cliff hanger times;

3. He just doesn't think it is necessary to reply;

4. He forgot to reply

5. He feels that you do not need an answer for his message.

In your case, I think your ex is rude to do so as he had texted he had an important question to ask you. My thinking here is that he dozed off at 5 am soon after.

What the **** is your damage you idiot. What kind of loser with know life or any health habits would text someone at 5am in the morning. The morning is for eating, taking a shower or a dump, something more progressive then to text your dumb gay *** friend about what happened last nite. You can tell your friend to go masterbate in the corner or get off her or his fat *** and get a damn life.

ex's especially guys have a hard time letting go sometimes so they aim to do something like ask you out again or tell you something they deem as important but realize the stupidity in what they were gonna say so they stop before they fulfill it and make themselves look ridiculous

Dang...that sucks....that's why I turn my phone off at night, ESPECIALLY on the weekends...it seems as though he was just effin with you...I would stop talking to him completely, especially since it won't be a healthy thing for you to do (still talk to your ex) when you start your next relationship. Good luck!

There should be a law about texting that early in the morning unless it's life-threatening. I hate that! My mom likes to call me buttcrack early and then apologize for calling me that early. I work nights, so this bugs the sheet outa me!

Gah!!

Ok I feel better. Thank you :-)

He could or probably was drunk. Ask yourself if you ever remembering himself to get drunk when he was upset about something. Also he might just have wanted to tell you something but got to scared. Its common. Txt him back and ask what he wanted maybe?
Hope this helps

I have a feeling he might have planed to ask you back out but then decided not to or was trying to annoy you and get your hopes up... if he says its something important he may have wanted to get your heart beating faster so it would be harder for you to fall back to sleep... though there is the chance one of his friends could have had his fone!

Cuz they want to make sure that you're not moving on since they can't find anyone themselves. Guys can be very over-protective and jealous.

That... or he's just being an a**hole
