What is RACIST about this comment they have already proven that they will break laws?

My ancestors don't have a thing to do with my question. The law is the law. What happened 150 years ago doesn't have anything to do with what is happening right now either.

For your information my Great Grandmother came over here LEGALLY and LEGALLY became a citizen according to the laws of the USA.

I still think that the immigration should indefinitely freeze immigration from Mexico until the illegal immigrations situation is worked out.
Racism doesn't figure into this. It is simply a matter of logic. The problem is the average illegal immigrant <80% of which are Mexican< enters the country with less than a 3rd grade education. They might not be stupid, but, they're being lied to and used as modern day slaves.
Let them fight for their own country rather than being parasites on ours. Like any living entity, too many parasites will kill the host.

The rhetoric about 'they do the jobs we wont' is a lie perpetrated by the minions of the corporate execs. All of those so called jobs are jobs that teenagers, seniors and ex-cons used to do. I know far to many people who have been forced out of their lines of work because the corporate yanks decided paying illegals pennies on the dollar was easier than paying legal wages, insurance and safe work environment. Where do you all think these giant bonuses the CEOs have been getting have been coming from?

Here is an answer to your question. First CIS (Customs and Immigration Service) changes a rule like they just did. You must now submit your work permit request to the national center. They don't tell anyone except the lawyers about the change. This process used to take a week or two. Now it takes 90 days.
A legal immigrant thinking it takes a couple weeks to renew their work permit waits until a month before to submit the application for renewal. They then find out that it will now take 90 days. Now they have to choose, work illegally and break the law while they wait for their work permit or follow the law and quit their job. Most would choose to work and break the law, many immigration laws a like that so they are not taken seriously.

The "you're a racist" argument is used by people who really don't have any valid points and just want to apply pressure. That way they can be "all outraged" at everything, and nothing you say will matter anymore. It's a totally invalid argument and tries to avoid the point that those people are here illegally no matter what race or culture they come from. We've got to try something to remedy the situation; there's got to be some punishment, some consequence, otherwise law means nothing.
By their reasoning one could say that if a person, company or organization has something of value that someone else wants then it should just be taken. Resources and value will not last long with that attitude.

I think the problem is that many people who are responsible for enforcing our laws are no longer able to use common sense (the US Supreme Court). We have become an 'apologetic' nation, that is trying to please millions of special interest groups, at the expense of the majority population which drives this country. This results in the majority population (the hard-working, tax-paying Americans of every race, religion, and background) essentially being ignored by both the media and politicans (who they ironically elect to office). It all starts at the local level, although many ignorama's simply blame the president. He is the reason why everything sucks. Many right-wingers in our country are viewed as hardened racists, because of their 'perceived' intolerance towards minority interests, and their strong religous convictions. Many left-wingers are perceived to be extremely aloof on foreign policy, and too sympathetic to worldwide humanitarian causes. Together, we have become a nation that is divided on many domestic and foreign issues. Too bad, since every true American wants what is best for this country. Nothing is racist about enforcing US policy. It is time ALL politicians stepped up to the plate and worked together for once, instead of worrying about their political careers, and their lame media image.

it isn't hard to understand if you are a LEGAL citizen. the illegals think they are smarter and know what's best, because they have taken advantage of the hardworking, educated, taxpaying, lawbiding citizens of this country. It isn't racist to say or ask what you have. The Illegals think it is, because they see other ethnics pull that card and get what they want. Providing food for your family isn't breaking the law. it's like saying, I shot and killed the guy for $5.00 because my children needed to eat, because I was too lazy to get a real job (in my own country). really there isn't much of a difference, a felony is a felony.

Actually, it could be done over an extended period. In 1954, the FBI/INS conducted an operation that probably had racist undertones as it was called "operation *******", that deported 1 million illegals. Since the population has doubled, I think that it could be done. We should withdraw from Iraq and use Iraq funds to deport illegals if logistics and not morality are the primary deterrent to disregarding immigration law.

I dont think they should be sent back. I think they should be able to work here and prove they are paying family money and move them here. We all are immigrants in some way. Our families all broke laws o get our freedom. Get over it. America was suppose to welcome all immigrants. Just another rich want to be richer. Besides what about our lazy people who will not take the jobs the do?

I whole heartedly agree with your question/comment. No wonder people, specially young people, believe they can break the law and get away with it. There million law breakers in the country and they are getting away with it, as you said, what other laws are they breaking? Identity theft, burglaries, muggings, robberies, not paying taxes by getting paid cash, under the table, for whatever work they might do for the law breaking employers?
