I say this in jest.
Posting that you are a non-rude atheist is actually insinutating that all atheists are rude thereby making that statement rude. :)
I would be surprised many would actually say evolution was god's work. I know my friends who are religious say this and it's probably why I get along with them.

It could always be a possiblity... But I don't really believe in evolution in the sense of us coming from monkeys. I believe all species will adapt... But not like a monkey turning into a human. HOWEVER~~ again, it is a possibility. And when I say this, I am not going against my beliefs at all... What if God's creation was through the evolution that you guys were referring. Well, the Bible says he was made from the "EARTH", not necessarily dirt.. So, it could probably be God's way of "creating" humans... You never know...

I think it's plausible. I don't argue with evolution in the aspect of adaptations within the species. Where I'm not so sure is where a species adapts into a new species. I don't see why God couldn't have "created" MICRO evolution, although, the Bible is rather clear on how He created man. If He chose to do it that way, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I think it is very possible....why we contain God to a box...I am not sure....
If evolution is how it all began...and two rocks banged together...who made those rocks? I think the only answer can be spiritual and based on faith that God is the alpha and the omega...otherwise our finite human minds cannot comprehend.
The Bible was written by humans, while inspired by God, and I do not believe we can interpret each part literal...
Oh...but, I am homosexual...so fundamentalists tell me I am not Christian...so, I guess my thoughts don't count. :-)

To be honest, I don't worry about the creation/evolution debate that much. Irregardless of who is right, it doesn't change the price of eggs, or teach me how to program my computer, nor does it help me do my job any better.
I have flipped back and forth over the years as I have heard different arguments, and now I simply don't care. God could have done whatever he wanted to.

I believe the biblical account of creation. I have no problem with micro evolution, that is, within a species. I do not believe in man evolving from something else.
I go with the bible. Thank you for the polite way you asked.

Evolution rules out the garden of Eden. Rules out original sin. No original sin means no need for a savior.

I think it is possible, but I don't think that it is that important. If He used evolution, or another method, the end result is the same.

not me. it would have said 'God tunred a fish into a frog, and then the frog to a lizard, and then a lizard to a rat, and then a rat to a monkey.....' or similar, as that would be understandable. But it says "God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed life into him".
