Why does that makes sense? Just because I am Mexican, I'm supposed to agree with everything mexicans do? That doesn't make sense. I don't agree with illegal immigration, and i'm even more against the protests. You can't make demands in some else's country. If they were going to sneak in it would have made more sense just to keep quiet about it. I just want to know why I'm expect to agree with my race? Haven't you ever disagreed with some people in your race?

(and I'm not the only Latina in the U.S. who feels this way, there are plenty)

No my parents did not get amnesty. They got their visas. I don't see how you are going to tell me what MY parents did. They worked hard. Maybe back in Mexico they had a good boss who paid them more than others. I don't know, I wasn't there. I just know they were poor, but they made it.

I fully agree with you! I have plenty of love for mexicans, as long as they abide by our laws and wait in line to come here just like people from any other country. Tell the mexican americans that support violating our law and sovereign right as a nation to control immigration to go suck a big fat....

I think that you are being true to yourself.I sure don't agree with every "white " person so why do you have to agree with any other Mexicans. That seems more than a little sheep like. I think for myself and its good that you do too.
Be your own person that doesn't mean you are denying your roots that only mean that you are an intelligent person that is not easily influenced or led.by others words or actions. I too know many Americans of Latin heritage that agree with you .

Don't pay any attention to the hate messages and vulgar name calling, they don't know any better. They think we are against illegal aliens because of race. How very wrong they are.

Tell me do ALL Mexicans like what the Mexican government has done to the poor people in Mexico ? I didn't think so .

Exactly. You are not the only one that feels this way. Now that I am a U.S. citizen, my loyalties lie with America.

You don't necessarily have to deny your roots just because you disagree with how Mexicans do things. You may be Mexican American, but a Mexican nonetheless. Don't forget who you are or where you come from. At the same time, follow the law of the land you reside in.

I think that what you are doing is good. You are thinking as an individual and not acting like a sheep following all the other people. It is good that you make your own opinions about things.

Do not feel bad that you think for yourself. Even if people think your ideas are dumb, they are yours and yours alone. All the people who call you a traitor are real racists! The issue of illegal immigration should not be a racial issue or an issue of national origin, it should be an issue of the law.

They do not want to hear sound reasoning. Become active in contacting your senators and congress! I have a few friends in the same predicament. Continue to speak your mind and opinion on the issue, because Illegal Immigration hurts everybody, regardless of race! It stops upward mobility of legal citizens and legal immigrants! They don't want to understand How the Corporate Criminals are using them against us, taking away our rights for their own benefit. Good luck.

i'm no longer latino and no it really is not all right to interrupt the regulation. likely countless us have performed so at diverse time in our lives, like dashing, operating example, yet all of us recognize the prospect we take and if we get stuck we ought to pay the positive. unlawful immigrants recognize they're breaking the regulation and they ought to no longer be whining about it at the same time as they get stuck and get deported.

I know quite a few valid US citizens from Mexico just like you, and I feel so bad for you.

It doesn't make sense to me either, that the illegals want to come here and demand amnesty when they have no right to be here.

No. You're a good American who understands and appreciates this country. I know that you're right when you say there are more like you but we need to hear from them! Just like good, peace-loving Muslims who won't denounce those who've perverted their religion into the hateful practice that the Islamo-fascists claim is Islam.

I think it is pretty bigotted to assume that every American of Mexican descent immigrated through illegal immigration. And if you didn't, why on earth would you be on their side? They are stealing from you and your children as much as from us and ours.
