Someone yesterday posted a question if he/she went to Heaven could he/she visit his/her mother in Hell who committed suicide.
I have found frequently it is best to look at a person's profile to see what other type of questions they have asked to get a feel of that person.
When I did I was very disturbed. This person has asked 27 questions over the past month and they all pertain to suicide or wanting to die.
You feel hopeless because you don't know who they are and how to get them help.
We should all remember this person in prayer no matter what our faith and recommend him/her to our own faith community for prayer.

How do we get this person professional help if we don't know who he/she is and where they live.

For those who think he needs professional help, I believe all those who said they would pray for him know that. However, we don't know who this person is or where he lives.
How in the world can we get professional help for him? The only thing we can do is pray for him and pray that he will get the counseling he needs.

You don't think that is kind of like reading a person's diary and taking all out of proportion? Also, I think there are sometimes regulars who will make a second profile for the purpose of asking certain kinds of questions. I get the idea because I'l see a lot of profiles that are knew that ask the more edgy questions.
Anyway, that doesn't mean that you are wrong. You could be correct, but it sounds to me like that question was set up specifically to challenge Christianity.

I love your ideas that we must look at what a person is all about often in knowing how to respond to them. and, every answer we give should be given to bring them hope in Jesus and to let them know its not too late to accept Jesus Christ. No sin is too big to be forgiven. and ppl need to know that. Many are bound in shame or fear, whatever, and cant let it go. They need to know that Jesus still saves, heals and delivers And, I love your idea that we mjust seek insight into the person who is writing. A few times I thought I was writing to a Christan, only to find out later, they were someone that only wanted to make fun of Christians. And, a few times I thought I was addressing an athiest, when in reality was a Christian trying to bring on a certain response to prove a point This is something we all need to look at, and I thank you.
Press on pam v. The world needs Jesus, and we can bring Him to any who will hear us.
I dont think we can find this person you are talking about All we can do is pray, and thats no small thing Prayer works. Faith still moves mountains today as much as it did in Bible times. The world needs Jesus. Come on Christians, lets get together and be in unity in love and in truth for Jesus Christ.
Thanks Pam.

I certainly will pray. Like you, I will check a person's profile if there seems to be a need.
With regard to the person who said prayer is useless and action is what is needed.
I contend that prayer is the first and most important action a person must take. That does not negate the need for follow up and response to good direction.

God bless you Shirley for having compassion for..... I do the same thing, checking out if the question is validated in me. There are a LOT of things the normal person does not comprehend, and this may be one, BUT !!! Halleluiah, there is some that go beyond the "NORMAL", Your heart will be revealed to my friends, and they KNOW how to pray....
PEACE......

I'll keep him in prayer. May G-d help Him make the right decision. I don't think anyone really wants to kill themselves afterall, it's just people's feelings of hurt, loneliness, etc. that makes people think that and feel that, but I'll pray G-d's peace over him so that he can think clearly.

I do check many of the profiles before answering ...
especially if i feel they are young and need a little protection here
we should be more careful in our answers to people on how we answer people , because we never know the state of their mind
my thoughts go out to this person ... whoever they are

I too glance at previous questions and answers to gain a fuller perspective on the person.
Yes. I will remember this person in prayer. God knows who they are and this, I suppose, is a test for our faith, that God will tend to this person in need in spite of us not knowing who they "really" are.
Praise God that He knows even when we don't!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Lord Jesus, I ask that you touch this person, that you would bring hope where there has been despair, that you would bring love where there has been rejection, that you would bring soft rays of sonshine where there has been darkness.
Lord Jesus, have mercy on this person, break generational curses, and allow your healing touch to bring wholeness. In Jesus' name I pray! Amen.
