I dont really have sensitive skin, but under my arms I really seem too. Lately, my underarms have been hurting after I shave and I sometimes nick them, but they dont just hurt where the nick is. I use a new razor and shave gel, and even if i get it all shaved, it still looks like I haven't shaved. Any suggestions for razors or some kind of cream or new technique?

Shave AFTER you have been in the shower for a bit - this will make the hair softer, and easier to shave. Wash pits before shaving with bodywash for SENSITIVE skin.
Use a fresh razor or blade.
Use a gel or cream for SENSITIVE skin.
Use a deodorant for sensitive skin, also
P.S. I know this sounds strange, but - observe your shaving techniqe in the mirror after your shower. Are you using enough gel/cream? Are you shaving the direction the hair grows? Are you missing any spots?
Don't resume shaving until your pits stop hurting!

You shouldn't share course hair, like your underarms, until you've been in the shower for a bit to soften it up, so make sure that it's one of the last places you shave. Then, only go in the direction of the hair growth. I know it doesn't give you a very close shave, but it will help with the irritation.

Make sure the blades aren't dull (I like Gillette Venus, with 3 blades) and always use shaving gel, to lubricate the skin.
And when you shave, don't press too hard, and don't go over and over the same area.
Also go in different directions. I noticed that if I just go from top to bottom, some hairs are missed, so then you hold the razor upside down, and go from bottom to top. Hair under your arms grows in different directions. Take your time, so you don't nick yourself.

Use a shaving cream for comfortable skin, shave interior the course the hair grows no longer against. additionally persist with deodorant interior the downward action no longer up, that's advisable to objective a distinctive deodorant besides. do no longer persist with deodorant if there is inflammation as there are risky chemical components in deodorant which you do no longer elect to circulate into the physique throughout the aggravated skin.
