No,
You should never take a puppy or a dog to a dog park. Lots of nasty stuff there not to mention Parvo. Why whoulfd you want to risk your dog getting sick.
Dog parks are full of diseases and fecal matter that you don't ever want your dog exposed too. Nor yourself for that matter.

Sadly, I had 2 puppies die of parvo. They both were getting their shots, but I don't think they were old to enough to have all of them yet. It was so sad cause after the 1st one died the vet told us to wait 30 days before getting another puppy. We waited 45 days just to be sure. But that one got it too. We then waited a couple months and got a dog at the Humane Society that was already a year old. She had all her shots and was old enough to not get sick. She lived to be about 11 years old and just died a few months ago. Usually a dog that's a year old that had all his shots may get the virus but will not show any symptoms and can fight it off without you even knowing they have it. Their immune systems are stronger than a puppy. Watching a puppy get sick and die of parvo is horrible!! i would highly reccommend you get a dog thats a little older so you don't have to go through it again!! Good luck to you!

Do not take your dog anywhere where un-vaccinated dogs may have been. This is a disease that lives a long time even in the dirt. Rain can sometimes make it easier to catch as it stirs up the virus on the ground and will be easier to find its way into a new host.
If you want to socialize your pup then take her around people but carry her or put her in a carrying device like a baby carrier or a pack of some kind. this will allow her to get to know people but not be exposed to the virus.
I know it sound silly but it is only for another month and she will be fully vaccinated at 16 weeks and be good to go with a head start at her social skills.

No - do wait until she's fully covered by vaccinations. Parvo can live in the environment, including the grass at the park for months if not years. Parvo is so often deadly in pups, it just isn't worth the risk for the sake of a couple more weeks inside.
Parvo is getting less and less common - thanks to the increasing practice of vaccinations!
I really would advise waiting it out. It only take one exposure to the wrong piece of grass - you don't know WHAT germs have been to that park over the years. Like I said, not worth the risk.

parvo is passed through feces and going to a dog park would probably not be the wisest when your dog is still energetic and could possibly step in other dog's feces. Be careful. I've worked at a vet for 4 years and I've had to take care of 10 parvo puppies. It is very sad to see those puppies especially when they don't make it. Listen to your vet and just wait. I would hate for there to be one other puppy with parvo.

NO!! do not take her anywhere where there are other dogs! She will catch something! No dog parks, no petsmart, not until she is FULLY vaccinated! Parvo is a very easy thing to catch, and a nasty disease to fight! (Which by the way she may not out live!!)
Please for the love of your dog dont chance it!

No. There are enough people that don't vaccinate properly that I would never take the risk. Parvo can be relatively common and it is so deadly I would not take the risk. You can wait a few more weeks and be safe. It's not forever.
It's like going to equatorial Africa and not taking preacuations for malaria. No sane person would do it.

because their immune system hasen't grown fully try feeding then this organic supplement http://www.thewholisticpet.com/category.cfm?Category=234 iwouldent reconmend giving them shots because it really doesen't prevent it their bodys defense does the shots might make her sick so i wouldent take a chance it's pretty commen in puppies about 65% get it and as long as u have the dog take those supplements im almost positive she won't catch a thing.

Very common and don't risk it. It is an expensive problem and not worth it. Run her around the corner if you must.
