They utilized a strategy now called the Blitzkrieg. (this is the tactic used by the American military to this day)
step 1: Bomb all power plants water treatment and defensive positions.
step 2: Heavy artillery and tanks to take out most remaining defensive emplacments
step 3: Infantry goes through and cleans up.

Understand this tactic was being used when most European countries still thought with the mindset of WW1 that all battles will be in a certain area with armies facing and attacking head on. The Blitzkrieg was as revelutionary an idea as the Atomic bomb. It forever changed the way every country goes to war.

Any French personality will be offended with the help of the theory that they were an 'best pal' of Nazi Germany. they were below a puppet authorities run from Vichy. The Italians finally surrendered to the Allies - yet maximum valuable on condition that they were dropping and finally ditched Mussolini - although now no longer quickly adequate. You really do favor to get slightly clearer photo of what develop into once going on.

First, they weren't unbeatable by definition since they lost the war. However, Germany had great initial success due to: use of fast moving armored tanks, coordination of air and ground attacks, concentrated attacks on enemy weak points to break through enemy lines whereas the French and British tended to spread out their forces, an excellent core of commanders, and comparatively weak opponents at the beginning of the war (Poland, Czechoslovakia, even Russia in 1940 were very underdeveloped militaries.

actually no,

Poland was not a little country it had 30million people living in it.

France had more advanced weapons and technology than the german army.

the countries under siege from the blitzieg were France,Poland,Denmark,Belgium,Netherlands,Norway,Luxembourg.

together these countries had populations way above germany.

Germany massed there armys together and had tanks charging in like calvary and dive bombers tearing up the battlefields.

France at the time who had superior numbers and weapons were poorly led and defended the wrong area,

Germany came through Belgium.

the german army performed very well under huge odds, and nearly pulled off a huge upset.

it underestimated the soviet union who won the war

Correction, at first they were unbeatable, and that is because they had the most advanced weapons, and they had great tactics such as Blitzgrieg, however those advanced weapons cost them far to much money and they also soon abandoned there tactics, put quite simply the ran out of money and resources to fund there war effort.

They didn't have the media following them around all day saying what animals they were. Also, the leaders were feared and nobody in Germany would have dared stir up rebellion against the authority.

However, they didn't count on us getting involved in the war.
