The saying is that the bible is the inspired word of god. If this is true, then everything in it is the word of god, not just parts of it (that would mean that 'parts' of the bible are the inspired word of god, leaving the question of which are and aren't).

If the bible is the inspired word of god, and Mosaic law is part of the bible, then Mosaic law are the words of god. That would mean that they are unchanging, yesterday, today, and forever, right? So where does Jesus get off claiming to be the son of god and changing what is supposed to be unchanging? Did they lie when they said god and his word were unchanging?

Gratvol, voices like yours need to be heard by christians. I think they are very confused about their religion and need to hear of it's roots from a different perspective.

"Inspired word of God"? Inspired my @ss. The buy-bull is the inspired word of men. Predominately men of the early church who desired to control the masses through fear of an imaginary place. No one knows for 100% certain the word of God.

Jesus never claimed to be the son of God any more than we are ALL children of God. Even in the bible there is no place where Jesus said that his mother was virgin when he was born. I think Paul overlooked that when he decided to twist the life of a man who was a great teacher.

I think Jesus was probably a Buddhist or an Essene. There are 18 years of his life mysteriously missing from the bible. Why? Where was he? What did they have to hide? They fabricated so much, why not fabricate an early adult life for him?

What happened to Mary Magdalene? She is not heard from again after she tells of seeing his "resurrected" body. Which was probably his spirit, in my opinion.

Why was the OT God so damn vengeful and murderous? This is supposed to be a deity after all.

What I don't get is why doesn't everyone see these glaring contradictions?

Wow that's some circular reasoning.

God laid out a plan...that plan never changed. He never changed. The Mosaic Law was part of that plan, the next part of that plan was for Jesus to come and fulfill the Mosaic Law and free us to become true children of God not forced to try to keep all 600plus of the laws within the Mosaic Law plus all those sacrifices and atonement....He gave us Jesus to atone once for all times for the sins of the world.

Nice try though.

Because the Israelite Tribe of Levi - the PRIESTLY Tribe - charged with the Spiritual welfare of all Israel and quoting The Most High, Himself, from Paragraph 8512 of "The ANOINTED, The ELECT, and The DAMNED!" in part .. ""Yea! And the whole of the Tribe of Levi profaned all of it and sold it for a farthing in the streets as it were an aged whore for worth and value."" And He is talking about Holy Law, exactly as you questioned. The short answer is: Holy Law has been profaned and desecrated since the Levites sold it out, along with the Ark of the Covenant/Testimony and neither the Roman Government in disguise of the Catholic church nor any fallout Protestant daughters (Christianity) has done nothing to restore it. There is hope for the harmed. Search the link below for all the details ... it's free online and will remain so.

Yes, the entire Bible is the inspired word of God. And Jesus came it didn’t change anything. Jesus was God as a human, God in a human body. He was simply named Jesus by his parents. “God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.” – 1 Timothy 3:16

God came to earth in human form to die for the sins of the world. Jesus and God are not different. They are the same. “But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” –Philippians 2:7-8

Jesus was not claiming whom He was like. Jesus was stating who He was!

And the law, by no means was ever declared bad. The law is there to show us that we are imperfect. Because it is impossible to fulfill the entire law in attitude and deed. That's why there was Old Testament sacrafices. The blood that was shed was the cover the mistakes/sins which where committed by not adhering to the law. But, when Christ came, He was going to shed His blood once and for all. And not just cover or sin until the next sacrafice, but to wash our sins away (past, present, and future), like they never happen. So, the law is still good, because it shows me my need for a sacrifice to have my sin dealt with. The only thing different for the Old Testament and the New, is that I don't have to do sacrafices over and over to keep covering my sin. There has been one sacrifice, of One Lamb, which takes away the sins of the world. So, if I believe Christ made that final sacrifice, then I am no longer under the law, because Christ paid for all my sin. But, I still obey the Lord, and He has now written the law of God on my heart.

Hey, even jesus said not to ignore the old law:

And he should know, since he's a clone of older gods.

Also: does mosaic law have something to do with browsers? Are we under Firefox law now?

I never quite understood that part.

you know when G-d says these commandments are eternal where dose his "son" get off by saying that he has fulfilled them and they are no longer needed.

Oh wait he did not say that ... it was Paul.

I guess that is one reason I am glad I am Jewish =P
