Here in Denver, Colorado, I started researching the schools that are in my district and all of the test scores are horrible! The schools are at least all 90% Hispanic (my son does not speak Spanish) and I am afraid to send him to school here. I went to school close to Chicago, IL and I feel very proud of the education I have.
PLEASE HELP!! I am ready to homeschool my child or move to a different region of the US where I know my children will be able to learn properly and have music classes and not learn Spanish from the huge majority of hispanic students!!!!

I wouldn't be too worried about the Hispanic students. Unless you are in a border town, many of the students will be 2nd generation or later, and will not know Spanish. My high school was 50% Hispanic, and almost all of the students either only spoke English, or spoke Spanish as their second language. Plus, if he picks up some Spanish at an early age then what is wrong with that?

Now, do you really know for sure that the district doesn't have music classes? If it really is that bad, maybe you could look into private schools, or moving into another district.

Good luck there. My son's school did all their presentations in english and spanish. They had assistance in the class room to translate the entire lesson into spanish. My son was having a hard time in school because of it so we pulled him out. He is in a different school now that doesn't do all this. It will only get worse. Sorry
