ok, thanks for all of your responses im really taking them into consideration, I wanted to add that I TRY NOT TO EAT ALL DAY, I MIGHT SNACK ON PRETZELS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND DRINK WATER...SINCE IM AT SCHOOL AND WORK, IM ALWAYS ON THE GO. SO IN THE EVENING I GO TO THE GYM, AND BURN CALORIES ON THE TREADMILL AND BIKE. IM THINKING IM BURNING MORE CALORIES AT THE GYM THAN WHAT IVE HAD TO EAT ALL DAY. BUT THEN I MESS UP CUASE I GO HOME AND HAVE LIKE A BOWL OF CEREAL OR A CHICKEN BREAST SALAD,... WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?? IM VERY CURIOUS TO KNOW.

Also, all the personal testimony really motivates me to push myself for better results and knowing that i can do it too... but there is alot of people doubting me that i will be able to win the bet, because i am a girl and im competing with 2 guys, and isnt it harder for a woman to loose wieght as fast as a man can?

Don't cheat by taking pills. It will cost you MORE than $100 to take the pills and get 0 lasting results.
Try this: EAT IN MODERATION! SNACK ON HEALTHY THINGS!!

I agree with everyone who's posted. Do not take pills in order to lose weight. They have NEVER been proven to be safe. Besides, you probably did not put on the weight overnight so it won't go away over night. It will take some time if you do it the right way.
Just keep trying. You might want to mix up your gym routine a bit to keep your body guessing. It will respond to slight changes - you'd be surprised!
Watch what you eat. Make sure that you are eating well. Some people use the gym as an excuse to continue poor eating habits: "Hey! I burn off those cookies and chips at the gym." WRONG. Give your body good nutrition and you will be just fine.
Good luck!

DIET AND EXERCISE! And DO NOT waste your money on OTC "weight loss" pills. Their effects have been almost totally debunked - they may, repeat MAY have a negligible affect on your metabolism, maybe 25 calories/day or so.
You need to burn more calories than you consume. It's as simple as that, and there's no other way around it. If you are just lifting weights when you are at the gym, start working in some cardiovascular activities such as jogging, swimming, basketball, etc. If you do them but do not lift, try some light strenght training.
Also - 20 lbs of weight loss a month is not all that healthy. The well established benchmark is around 2 pounds of weight loss per week to ensure you remain healthy. People that lose weight at that rate also have much heigher success rates at keeping the weight off long term than those who lose a lot of weight very quickly.

well never take pills the have really bad side iffects but another one of the thing u will hate to no is u should only lose 2-3 lbs every week becuse the weight will come back and no one wonts that with all that work in losing the weight.
any ways if u wint ti lose more u should exersizes at home if u go to http://fitnessmagazine.com/ it shows u exersizes, and if u can u should go on runs for 15-30 mins one day and another day go biking for 15-39 mins. and stuff like that u should also take a arobics class at the gym so u can burn caloris for fat burning work out well hope u lose the weight jamie

Ok so here's the deal. In order to lose weight effectively you can't just go to the gym. The best diet is to eat balanced meals (which means no fatty food and cokes lol), cut down on your portions, drink lots of water, and excercise daily. You will see the pounds drop quicker than anything else you've ever tried. Good luck with your bet too!

Don't go the pill route - assuming that they don't screw you over directly, the weight will just come back as soon as you stop taking them.
If you want to make the most of your gym time, mix up what you're doing. It will make you less likely to get injured, improve overall tone of your body and increase your overall muscle mass. The more muscles your body has, the more calories they will burn and the faster you'll lose.
Other than that - you're already getting plenty of exercise, so make sure that what you eat has plenty of protein to help you build up muscle and plenty of whole grains and fruits & vegetables for overall health. Don't skip meals, and do get plenty of sleep - those are both tricks that most people who want to lose weight forget about or just don't know.

Eat Watermelon and plenty of fruits for two weeks along with a lemon drink. Nothing else and you'll notice a great difference inside and out. After the two weeks are up introduce a little food into your diet. Not a full course meal!

Chinese stores have a superslimmer tea, but that gets rid of mostly water weight, not long lasting weight.
You should try hypnosis. It really worked for my aunt and my mom's best friend. They lost over your desired 20 pounds, and they are keeping it off (it's been about seven and twelve months respectively).
They both went to a hypnotherapist, but I've heard there are cds available for purchase.

Diet and exercise, unless, of course you wanna join all of the idiots who waste money and threaten their lives by popping pills, most of which don't work. If you really want to lose weight, see you Dr. or a nutritionist, they can help you set up a healthy diet/exercise plan.
