It's just like before you were born.

I am not a Christian nor an atheist. My instinct tells me when a person dies, the physical body would decompose, the soul would dissolve and the spirit would be set free from the bondage. But of course, all of these makes no sense to you unless you accept you are a spirit in that body rather a body in that spirit.

You are the body, then you are right - nothing happens when you die.

If we just cease to exist there is no purpose for life. There is no reason to live by laws no reason to do good or to even try to search for the truth.

However in Ecclesiastes 3:11states, "He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

We have a desire in us to know our origins and to seek out the truth about life, death, and the afterlife.

I believe we have a physical body which is governed by natural laws including time and death. We also have a spiritual body or a soul which was created by God to last for eternity.

Physicists have discovered through mathematics a universe made up of at least a 10-dimensional world. Our minds cannot even fathom what type of shape our universe actually is and what relationship our current world has with other dimensions.

There are laws pertaining to physics such as laws of thermodynamics which states energy is neither created nor destroyed it is just transferred.

We also know all mater continue to deteriorate at a constant pace indicating an end for our planet.

There is a glue that holds our universe together and there has been a laws placed in our physical world which currently acts as a timing mechanism for life.

All these points I made through logic and science to me indicate a supernatural being which created our mysterious universe.

Our minds are finite which means we don't have the complete story. But God's mind is Infinite meaning his knowledge is unlimited beyond anything we could ever comprehend.

That's why faith plays an important role in the Christian life. And in my personal experience I can tell you that when your faith grows God will start to reveal the questions are minds continue to ask.

I do believe there is a heaven created for people who accepted Jesus’ message of love, hope and faith. And there is a hell created no for humans but for Satan and his demons but hell will also end up being a place for all those who reject God’s plan of love and a relationship manifested through Jesus.

I believe we go to heaven, hell, or purgatory, but the key word is "believe" obvious no one knows anything about what happens to our concious or "soul" after death, my answer is based on faith, and yours would be the logically drawn guess. However, I do know our physical body gradually decomposes

Same here. Though nobody knows, this is one of the few times where I have to say, I'm not certain, but it seems more possible that nothing happens instead of going to IMAGINARY red or white places (hell/heaven).

Your physical body goes back to the ground. You know ashes to ashes, dust to dust!! Your life force, your energy body floats off in to infinity, which is God, as god is everything. When infinity or God, however you perfer to call it, is ready to use you again, then you are reborn!! The reason you are reborn, or born to begin with it to provide FOOD for the cosmos!!!!!!
