What would you consider a romantic evening?

The "grand gesture" isn't needed, in my opinion. I would find it greatly romantic to order pizza and set up a picnic on the living room floor. Light some candles. Serve soda in wine glasses. Have some music in the background that you both enjoy. You don't need a lot of money, it's thinking outside the box to make the moment special. That's what makes it romantic.

It depends upon whom you are trying to woo, actually. For many, a fancy dinner, a carriage ride, and a dozen roses would constitute a romantic evening. But, not everyone has such tastes. For example, a perfect date for me would be a day at the beach--surfing, playing volleyball, football, and then kicking back in front of a little bonfire. I love being active and think it's VERY important to have fun.

My suggestion is that you spend a little time on figuring out your girl. If she's kind of girly, she may not be into a day in the sand.

getting picked up at my home...given flowers. Taken to a really nice restaurant and chat over a bottle of wine. Then go for a walk on a beach or around the block. Then maybe rent or see a movie and end it with either a goodnight kiss or something more!

i dont care as long as im with my man then its romantic enough.. but a night out at dinner and a movie and then come home for a long night together maybe in a hot tub or a nice relaxing bath with candles. but like i said as long as im with him its romantic, you dont have to do anything but be there if ur trying to be romantic it should come from within.
