and lost 40lb. I usually start with running for 20-30min w/ walking in between then move to working out my core and upper body. I think I'm right on with my diet. any help would be great.

good for you! did you ask the people that work at the gym? they could show you what to do. strength training with weights will build lean muscle faster than anything.
