How did you have them peirced before?

If it was with a gun, then the infection could have resulted from the dirty gun (they can not be sterilized). You could also have had a reaction to the cheap jewelry they use (it's pretty common)

If you had them done with a needle...
Was it done professionally? Did you care for them properly?

Done with a needle, by a professional and cared for properly, you shouldn't get an infection. Most infections (with pro piercings) are due to poor aftercare. You need to keep them clean with sea salt soaks 2-3 times per day, keep good quality, 316L stainless steel or implant grade titanium jewelry in them (and not change the jewelry for at least 10 weeks), and make sure that no bacteria is introduced to the area (by your hands, other people touching them, etc)

If you correct what you did wrong before, there is no reason to believe that you would get another infection. Just get them done right and take care of them properly`

You should never pierce your ear in a place that already has been. The reason for this is sometimes cysts can form there and so can tissue. This could be the reason for your infection. Do not go to a random place in a mall or something for that. Go to a tattoo parlor and see what they say.

i think u shud... the earring is one of the most important and fashionable item of jewelry... anyway... i think u shud but this time get it in a different spot... who knows maybe it was infected becuase u took out the earing too quickly or that ear part is infected or your allergic to the earring quality and you prefer real 14 karat gold or the place that u got it done from isnt hygenic... Get them done at a different place clean your ears at least twice a day and wear only gold until your ear has healed. This should help

if you've done it yourself, go to a professional. I would go to a tattoo parlor that does piercings, too.

If it was professionally done, you might want to see a doctor before you do. You might not be wearing the right kind of jewelry or are allergic to the type.

You also have to clean them at least twice a day for six weeks or more. After that, you could clean them at a minimum of once every two days.

If you want to wast money and get your ears infected again, then you should!!! If your ears got infected two times before, then something is probrably telling you not to. It's really your choice.

Have you cleaned and turned your newly pierced ears? Stayed out of pool/lake? Find out if there's something you're doing that could make you prone to these infections before you pierce again.

I think you should wait a little while, and try it again, but first you should talk to a proffesional or a doctor to see if you are allergic to getting your earspierced or maybe it is the type of earing you are getting or it could be that you are not taking care of your ears.

Same thing happened to me - and now i have three holes in each ear. I realized that my ears were having allergic reactions to every metal except gold. Perhaps your just allergic to the metal of the earring that they pierced your ears with.

NO. Obviously either you are not taking care of them properly OR your body is just easily infected. Besides which you are just building scar tissue. Forget it. Don't waste your time or money again.
