You're kidding, right?

Evolution is true.

"God" didn't say anything at all. There's a book - written by people who didn't know any better - that says that "god" created man in his own image. That book is simply wrong about that.

Evolution is FACT The life forms on earth now are not the life forms of a million or more years ago.

The Theory of Evolution seeks possible answers as to how, not if, evolution happened.

No one claims to know the origin of life or the exact mechanism of change, (change did occur). Some theory's suggest natural selection is a possible, but not necessarily the exclusive means of change (evolution). Spontaneous mutation is another possibility.

We did not come from any species currently living, so we did not come from monkeys or, chimps. Chimpanzee are are closest living species to us with more than 98% of the same DNA and we both have a common ancestor.

If you want to learn about science take a biology class. Most of this is very basic proven science. Not theory, the theory is about how change occurs, NOT IF it occurs.

I see. So, you cant wrap your mind around the concept, so it must then fall back on the magic card - GOD did it. Thats great logic there...NOT. Adam and Eve are a myth. God is created in the image of man, not the other way around. You are right on one point though - the Bible makes no sense.

We started as neither monkeys nor humans. Homo Sapien Sapien (modern man) is a relatively recent arrival on the scene, being around 100K years old.

Yes, evolution is true.
See, you're confusing "god said he created man in his own figure (image)" with something that superstitious men wrote thousands of years ago. "god" never said anything.
Same with adam & eve -- it's a myth written down by superstitious, ignorant hebrew goat herders, and there's no evidence of any kind to back it up.

On the other hand, there is a huge mountain of evidence that shows evolution to be correct. None of which says we started out as "monkies," by the way. All primates (humans, apes, monkeys, etc.) had a common ancestor -- who was neither human nor monkey. If you'll simply learn a little about evolution, and stop believing ancient myths with no evidence to back them up, you'll find "true" pretty easily: evolution by natural selection.

Peace.

Ummmm, Evolution does not state that humans started out as monkeys. This is simply an idea that Creationists pass off as the thinking of those who understand and accept evolution. Evolution does say that all life stems from common ancestors. It states that humans and monkeys may have had a common ancestor.

There are those who are Christian who accept and understand evolution, who take the tack that God used the process of evolution to bring about life "in his image".

First off, the account of "the beginning" from the book of Genesis is not credible by any means. It's a nice story, but not historically accurate. We cannot verify the author; nor can we scientifically support many of its outrageous claims.

Second, evolution is true, however many theories of evolution may be incorrect. Just because one can acknowledge that evolution does exist, it does not mean that one believes in the big bang theory or that humans evolved from monkeys.

Of course not, adaptation is true but never in the sense that Atheist evolutionists would have you believe, for example were are the in between stages of say a dinosaur becoming a bird there would have to be billions of slighty varied skeletons and this is only one species we are talking about, were is the so called missing link between apes and humans?
Simple it is a theory yet to be proven but conveniently hijacked by those who hate God and creation, evolution is satanic revolution.

It really makes no difference how we started out, we as human beings have evolved just like all the rest of life that was created by God, and we are still evolving, every thing on this planet is a continuous change brought on by continuous evolution it's simply never ending.

This is us:

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Primates
Family: Hominidae
Genus: Homo
Species: H. sapiens
Subspecies: H. s. sapiens

We are (top to bottom), animals, vertebrates, mammals, primates, great apes. We did not start out as monkeys. Monkeys are also in the order primates, and we're related. If you go back far enough, you are related (we can find a single common ancestor) to every single living thing on this planet.

Evolution is a fact. Only in backwards parts of the world like turkey or the united states it's rejected by religious fanatics who are a disgrace to their country and religion.

Good starting points:

Don't let your ego gets in the way of finding the truth. I am not saying we evolved from monkey either. Simply feeling shameful that we might have evolved from monkey is a faulty way of thinking.
