Is it because of all the Atheists attacking religion?

It is just people expressing their opinions. You know the advice "don't talk about religion or politics'? They are the most heated topics. It's good for people to have discussions about their thoughts. Check out politics if you think it's heated here...:)

Well, we certainly attract all the bashers and trolls, that's for sure. I'd say any atheist spending their time in this section is a few bricks short of a full load anyway. Kinda like if I was hanging out in the craft section bashing crafts. Just ignorant.

The vigorousness of this section comes from the expansion of individualized egos, and the perception of them.
Collapse the ego, and live within humility, and all sections of the world become friendly.

When you want to strike up a good talk or debate with someone, try religion or politics, but start with the weather. The Weather Answers is lame. Religion and politics is wild and invigorating.

atheist are here asking questions, i have never seen an attack by an atheist towards a religious person. now, some of the religious people do tend to take it as an attack, but it is not. people do need to know if god is gay, or if god loves gay people or if there is really a heaven or a hell or infact, a god. i've seen more religious attackers that pinpoint out the atheist. asking things like, why are they so stupid? and so on..

True atheists don't attack anything, they question. But yeah the theists certainly react vigorously.
