get them into rehab

you can only help people who want help. If this person doesn't want to get help, sending them to rehab will be a waste of money and peoples time. Otherwise have them go to rehab and stand behind them every step of the way. A support system is what they need at that time.

All you can do right now is let them know that you will always be there for them when ever they are ready to want it. Then sit and wait. Be cautious about giving him/her money or shelter because you may just be influencing them to do it even more. That person needs to hit rock bottom before they are ready to clime them self out of the hole they dug.

sometimes the best thing to do is ""Let Go And Let God". It's best sometimes to let your friend go . Do'nt follow to close because it could be real easy to fall into the trap your friend got into.Pray that your friend finds his way out of the drug scene.And be there for your friend when he/she needs your help.I'll be praying for both of you.

Unless they ask for help, there is nothing you can do. People need to realize their problems for themselves to be completely rehabilitated. It is an endless struggle for control in life.

Unfortunately, Connie, if the person does not want to help themselves, there is little you can do. Let them know when they are ready to stop you will be there to support them.
