BibleGod is a massive paradox.
If you wish to be "spritual" be an agnostic for a while until you decide if you wish to follow a certain path or become an atheist.
In the Bible, God is a violent psychopath. Rape, murder, arson, loot, selling of daughters of sex slaves, everything is in their.
Additionally he sucks at math. The bible says pi=3, which it certainly does not!

You comment that no god of your kills babies. There have been sacrifical cults to a great many pagan gods. So how do you know this for certain? A great many of the gods pagans reclaim today have a lot and storied history of human sacrifice.
Archeologists discovered a massive hollow metal statue not long ago. Finding thousands of burned infant bones around the statue they concluded that the statue was an oven. A fire was lit inside and babies were put into the statues arms to burn.
So how do you know? Some cults to Greek gods did perform infant sacrifices. Archeology tells us so.
Yahweh is not a god who threatens in order to force belief in him. He does scold and punish as any parent does.

You apparently only know one side of God. He made the rules and He made it possible for us to go to heaven. He supplied everything we need to make heaven our home, that is not mean.
