What type of a gathering?
If it's a potluck or informal bring Scotcharoos.
Bring 1 cup of white sugar
1 cup of Light Corn Syrup
1 and 1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
Combing and bring to a boil, it won't be a fast boil and once it starts to bubble get it off the heat.
Stir in 6 cups of Rice Krispies
When mixed, pour into a 9x13 greased pan. Smooth out the top. Put aside to cool
Melt 1/2 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate) and 1/2 bag of Butterscotch chips, mix well, I do mine in a small sauce pan. Once mixed, spread over the bars. Let top harden. Enjoy!
