When a Guy says " I don't want to be tied down right now" but still wants to see you, What does this mean?

it means just that he doesnt want to get real serious but is still willing to have a relationship with you . build upon that and things will get serious later.

Mean he wants to "date" you, but on his own time and under his rules.
Probably not the way to go for you. He wants to make things convenient for himself because he doesn't want the seriousness of a true relationship.
I would really think hard about getting involved in something like this because you heavily increase your chances of getting hurt.
Honestly, until he is ready to commit to a solid relationship, I would just be friends and leave any kind of dating out of it.
I can just see it; you guys will go out somewhere, he will get up and go start flirting with another girl, or talking to some other friends. You will get upset because he is obviously flirting in front of you, and to some degree disrespecting you. You will say something to him about it because it has upset you, and he will throw out the ole' "well it's not like we are dating seriously or anything. I just wanted to date you casually"-card.
You will get your feelings hurt and you might even ruin a friendship, much less a chance for a GF/BF relationship.

He doesnt wanna get too serious with you but he still wants to talk to you and maybe something will happen in time.
Basicly what he's saying is he's not ready for a commitment but he still does like you and wants to see you.

He wants to hang out with you "just as friends" with the occasional sex on the side when he wants it. Other than that, you're on your own. Dump him and find someone else, he's not worth it. He's is selfish and immature.
