That is such a limited concept...2 extremes. Just suppose the afterlife consists of many spheres (some say 7) that contain those that are spiritually qualified to occupy them by their own spiritual intents and purposes. There is so much more to learn than the limiting heaven and hell concepts which are contained in Christianity alone.

The Bible says that there is a hell---both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Lack of belief in hell will not make any difference to God when it comes time to kick non-believers off the cliff into the lake of fire. The existence of hell is not dependent upon the beliefs of one or more people, but upon God's creation.

Yes, I believe in hell. I believe that is where you go if you are not accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven. Thankfully, I am saved by God's forgiving grace, and will spend eternity with Him giving Him all the glory and praise! If anyone reading this wants to know more about serving Jesus Christ, and accepting Him as your personal Savior, please feel free to contact me. God Bless.

When you die, you don't go, you stop.

This scares some people so much they make up stories about a magical fairy granting people eternal life.

We call these stories "religion".

---

Heaven was made up to entice believers, just like hell was made up to scare them.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

yes I believe in both, but just because you don't believe in a thing doesn't mean it's not there. I can not believe that you are a girl because I don't see you but that doesn't make you a boy. You're a girl whether I or anyone else believes or not!

You assume that people who don't believe in hell, do believe in heaven. It doesn't work that way for them.

I'll be hanging out in the summerlands waiting to reincarnate into another body. Or deciding if I want to be a guardian spirit. I might even just hang out and take a vacation.

Why should I 'have to go' anywhere at all? Is life on this planet some sort of processing factory? It's only a Theme Park. Have some Fun for a change.

I don't believe in an afterlife at all.

Remember what it was like being you before you were born? It's exactly the same after you die.
