..always end in answers of the atheists bashing those who believe in God or the opposite?

It always ends up being about how dumb one side is, or how the others need a real education.

How about some real answers to the questions instead of trading insults? Trading insults seems to only cloud the issues further.

I guess we are all guilty of that...it is amazing, when you post a direct question...you only really receive one or two direct answers....and the remainder is inflammatory, defensive rhetoric...

It's been tried in the past but to no avail. There will always be trolls, haters and frankly just mean-spirited people -- it's the nature of the Internet.

Do you consider it an insult when I say "There is no God"?That is not an insult, it is just a well-intentioned statement of fact.

Saying I deserve to burn in hell for all eternity... well, that can be taken as an insult, no?

We're all trying to get to the same mountain peak, and the different religions are just different paths to that same peak.

Because religious questions, by definition, cannot be argued or answered. The religious person has but one answer for everything: "because God made it that way". There is no argument against that answer because it precludes rational discussion.

maybe some people don't have answers but want to interject some negative things so that good answers to whatever the questions are stand out more?

Because most of the religeous-styled questions I've seen here are quite insincere and stupid, to begin with.
