42% believe that life on earth has existed as it does since the beginning on time. 48% believe that it evolved in some way (this is not to say they accept the Darwinian model or explanation of the beginning of life.)

This is from the Pew Research poll:

Hope this helps.

Edit:
That website should answer any other percentage questions you have about perceptions of creationism vs. evolution.

Many of the uneducated and ignorant ones . It's a tribute to the failure of the public school system in the USA while they spent 37 billion dollars for the so called reconstruction if Iraq.
Sad and pathetic really.

Have you ever heard of the US Constitution?

Have you ever heard "endowed by our Creator?"

I'm guessing, but I would say at least 80% of the citizens in the USA believe that God created man and woman. We were swayed by evolution for awhile, but came back to our senses. Too many lies by scientist for me. They couldn't find that ever changing specie, so they just made them up some.
Fraudulent habits have never promoted many followers.

It's always amazes me that most people still like that Christians are stupid Hillbillies who are married to their cousins.

I am a Christian, I have a science degree. I have studied Evolution theory and can see the holes in it. I have studied both sides and I believe in God the creator.

And my husband is only my 2nd cousin (joke)

Minority? Your question is worded poorly so I'm having a hard time telling what your looking for. The people that believe in Creationism are known as the minority.

Your question doesn't really make sense. Are you asking what they are called or what percentage of the population believes in creationism?

All of the nonbelievers call us ignorant and uneducated but I know it's the other way around. Why come to r&s just to say hateful things. Some really need education here and it's not us christians. Jesus said love those who hate you s I love you guys anyway.

Newsweek and CBS did a study. It truly frightens me...

It about 55% of people believe that God was solely responsible for the creation of man; and 79% believe that Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus, and over 80% believe Jesus was the son of God...
