I believe that the stories in the bible should be interpreted allegorically (and perhaps many of them were meat to be). There are things like the rule about not murdering (sounds like common sense to me) and being loyal to the people you love (again, fairly safe rule), but those are of course things you don't need the bible to know make sense. As far as things like the flood and the exodus...well I just have to shake my head at people who buy into that nonsense.
Whether or not the bad of Christianity outweighs the good, I don’t know. Maybe…Probably.

From a study done by a school in that one state where they do studies like this, it has been determined that .000009% of Christianity may be wrong. Of course there is a error rate of 2% so then you take out all the variables and you find that Christianity is actually, 101.000001% percent correct. But that is just a estimate really the actual percent maybe well over 150% correct. Or even 200%.
Now this is no lie. Truth be upon you.

Unfortunately, there are hypocrites every where, even in the church. True Christians don't purposely lie. God says that on Judgement Day he will separate the true and the false, the sheep and the goats. Some may lie and fool us but they cannot fool God.
If you are not a true Christian, go here and find out why you need to be. www.TakeTheGoodTest.com
Because I care.

i think it teaches many valuable things..such as love...some people don't practice them, yes but that doesn't invalidate the religion.it's just the God concept i don't agree with+the stuff about homosexuals and "saving"etc..but even that springs from the belief in God...so i'd say,i have a problem only with the existence of God

And to answer your question, the percentage of christianity that is based on lies, is:
Christianity that are lies = Human history + morality - Asshole Human Nature.

Telling lies is not specific to Christianity. It's specific to people. All people lie. We cover our butts. And then we dislike the people who are honest.

All of The True Christian Faith is Truth... unfortunately there is no mortal that is completely capable of it... Fortunately God still provides a way for those who seek The Truth to come to Him... and one day to know The Truth... But the Full Truth will never be known in this mortal world.

I think that lies is too strong a term. Lies implies a deliberate misconception.

Whatever percent of Christians that are hypocrites... and that's a lot.
The Bible is 100% correct. Some so-called Christian theology is not.
