No. Sometimes I do not want to use my card. I dont pay interest when I pay with cash.
Why do I want the government to know everytime I buy a pack of gum or a drink at a bar? Its none of their business. As long as I pay them on April 15th and all my other bills on time, whats wrong with cash?

cashless seems cool. japan has the cellphone to pay for goods and service. reduce theving big time. well they need the security to back it up cause bank acc can disappear overnight. not like it cant today.
its a paperless currency economy not cashless.

What better way to track what everyone is doing with credit cards. A good majority already have smartcards that can track everything you do.

The barter system worked just fine at one time. I'll trade my goods and/or services for yours. I raise tomatoes, lettuce & spices. I have a teaching degree so I can help your kids with school. What can you offer me?
