you should go to a personal trainer, I have always been fat, and have tried about every diet there is, you can name it and I tried it. but the real trick is to teach yourself how and what to eat. I have been going to a trainer now for nine months now and have lost 120 pounds. its has not been easy but I have now learned how to eat properly and I now know how to exercise effectively and get the most out of the time i spend in the gym, before I was working out seven days a week for two hours a day (at ballys), that is 14 hours a week away from my family, while it may not sound like a lot but it is for a workingg family. Now with my trainer I work out three times a week for one hour a session, so now I am spending only three hours a week in the gym and getting way more results than i was workin out three times as much. believe me this has changed my hole life around try it!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Eat at least 1 cup of grains a day. A cup of vegetables and as much fruit as you want but not too much because fruit eventually dissolves into sugar. Drink lots of water, at least 8 bottles a day. Exercise whenever you have the chance. You can still eat chocolates and stuff like that, but in moderation. You can treat yourself to a treat every 2 weeks.

Join weight watchers or jenny craig, Dang have you seen Kirsty Ally lately? She lost a lot of weight!
To really keep it off long term you need to change your life style. Weight Watchers offers more realistic weight management solutions because you don't have to buy their food to follow the program. But I'm sure there are other good programs.

Weight watchers - it isnt even like a diet - more like a new way of life - creating healthier habits.
I have lost 20 pounds so far on it - and I eat regular foods.
