I think it can influence a person, either to go one way or to be determined to go the other way--depends on the personality.

Ecomic level does't decide where or what a person is going to be, you decide, keep your day job and get a PT sales job that pays a high commission, dont take no for an answer and youll make it big.

I know that people hit hard times in their life. But I don't think that anyone that can work should be on welfare. They need to get a job and do better. You must have a good head on your shoulders. Congrats and good luck.

The economic background is just one piece of the pie of your success.

Apparently you've overcome what has been a debilitating situation for your siblings.

Hard work, perseverance, ethics, morals, determination, etc. So many things make a successful person successful.

Empathy.

You don't have to live a dirty life to feel soiled. You are learning from those around you.

Economic level is a non-issue. Money doesn't buy morality.
Poverty doesn't earn morality.

Work to improve yourself. Work to improve the lives in your community.

It doesn't fully. It's partly what you are born with and partly what you experience and how you look at what you've experienced! Congratulations on being the only successful person in your family!!! You should be so proud of yourself!!
