You can make a cheesecake with a store bought graham cracker crust. You then would just make your cheesecake in the tin pan the crust comes in. You are limited on the recipes you can use though if you do it that way. I have seen plenty though at www.cooks.com. Good luck!

There's a difference between a "cheese pie" and cheesecake. If you want to create a tasty "cheese pie", then go ahead and use your store bought pie crust. Create your cheesey filling and top with your favorite topping. It will resemble a pie as opposed to the traditional cheesecake we know and love, but the flavors will be terrific anyway. For the more traditional cheesecake, graham cracker crumbs are an easy way to go as well. I have also used crushed chocolate wafers, gingersnaps, sugar cookies, and a sugar cookie like dough for my cheesecakes. You can also use zwieback crackers and non-traditional items for the crust as well. The springform pan will enable you to remove the cake while preserving its form. This allows you to also show off the crust, filling and topping all at one time. Either way, enjoy!

You can make it in a round store bought pie crust. If you want a fancy big cheesecake then a springform is the best but for any ol dinner night dessert store bought will work just fine.

I'd go for a springform and an easy graham cracker crust. I wouldn't use one, but I've certainly seen the prepared graham cracker crusts, so as long as your recipe will fit in that size, give it a try.
