And STILL takes it, even unto this day. But who is mighty that he can defeat God Almighty?
It is amazing, but it 's no surprise. For the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Issac; He is our God.
Evil men have through the ages, tried in vain to destroy God's message to the world.
But Christ has been been preached for 2000 years. The OT/NT has been preserved through the ages.
The very NAME Jesus, when spoken, brings joy to soul of many and CONDEMNATION to others.

::shrugs:: Some folks believe in things despite opposition, some folks believe *because* of opposition. I mean, there's folks out there who still think that the Earth is flat, despite satellite photos to the contrary.
Many people find the Bible compelling, and, frankly, after about 300 AD, there hasn't been a drastic amount of competition in Western Europe - not enough to pose a serious threat to all Christianity. Those two combined point towards it continuing without too many issues.
(Edit: Yes, people still believe in the Bible. That's not terribly surprising. People believe in an amazing number of things, some of them true, some of them not. The simple fact that people still believe in the Bible after 2 to 6 thousand years (give or take, depending on which section) doesn't have any impact, for or against, on its relevance.
Likewise, the opposition that God's Word has faced has been minor, a pittance. Once Christianity got established, it pretty much ran rampant, gaining momentum. While there certainly has been opposition to it over the years, especially in certain places, Christianity has been a major player for over a millenium. If you want to see "amazing," look at the underdogs, the ones that were almost destroyed, but still have followers. That's the amazing part.)

For me, the note of God, is the note of God because i recognize that is, it really is my faith. you spot i have self belief there's a God, i don't have self belief that God would not go away us precise, real assistance. Nor do i have self belief that God would enable His note to be corrupted with the help of mere men. i advise that e book has His call on it. i recognize that God might want to substitute each and every Bible contained in the completed international, with the help of in basic terms speaking it into life, and He might want to attempt this without our ever understanding it. The note of God is precisely as He needs it to be, else He shouldn't have allowed it to be corrupted. So what's in it, is from God, else He would have prevented it from ever being in His note contained in the first position. The Bible, is the words of God. You both have self belief it, or you do not. very few surely have self belief it. In His Holy and worthwhile call, Jesus Christ DiscipleDave Please bypass to my profile to get the hyperlink to my internet website to discover extra assistance appropriate to this, seem less than note of God. i can't placed the hyperlink in this submit, because the Yahoo answer crew will delete it, and say that is junk mail. at the same time as even of their rules it says you could placed links on your submit, if that hyperlink is to what's being reported and not in any respect off topic. So if i'm speaking about Fasting, and placed a hyperlink contained in the answer, it really is about Fasting, they're going to delete the answer saying that is junk mail, even although they say you may want to do this.

Yeah it is still standing but the ground is giving way.
The teachings will fall completely once our society has progressed past the usefulness of the teachings such as leviticus that states we should kill our children if they curse us. Those teachings have fallen the rest that still stand will crumble with time be patient.

Yes, JD. You are right. satan may think he has a mighty army, and he thinks that he is one step ahead of God, but he will always fail, because his end is written about in Revelations, and he is doomed to fail.
Of that, I have my confidence! God will reign forever and ALL will come to acknowlege Him in the last days.

lol. Oh come off it. There are religions much older than Christianity. Much much much older. And they still exist. Christianity does not have a monopoly on the world. It says nothing about your god and everything about people.
