me my hubby and our 8 month are going to the beach in a few days. he left me in charge of all the packing?

we might stay a week or a month, i know well be sleepin out on the beach, witch is so awsum. but i dont know what to pack...at all have any ideals on how to go about this and what to bring?

Babies that age sometimes like to put all kinds of nasty stuff in their mouths (mine was a sand-eater), so unless you want to spend all your time on guard duty, it is good to take along a playpen or portable crib where your 8-month-old can be put on temporary hold from exploring. Take a pop-up tent for nighttime containment in case baby wakes up and you don't.

If you take a large beach umbrella, you can put it over the baby for part of the day (they sunburn more quickly because of thinner skin and are more susceptible to heat).

Be sure to have some ointment for possible diaper rash, and sunscreen. Some kind of hat or cap.

Plenty of baby food, water and wet wipes (appetite and thirst may increase in the sea air and sun).

A child carrier (either front pack or backpack). If already walking, some shoes that won't work off.

A big blanket to spread out on the sand. Extra plastic bags for disposal of paper diapers and other trash. More clean clothes than you think you will need.

You can borrow items you don't have from friends, no need to buy all that ... at least not yet! Have fun.

take a sheet if you take nothing else leightweight portable , cooler for drinks, beach umbrella lawnchair matches , sunglasses , start packing put everything in categorys so you wont have to dig for things bring snacks the beach makes one hungry have fun

Clothes to wear, swimsuit, diapers and forumula for the baby. Basically whatever you use at home plus swimming gear.
